Biography

Dr. Melissa Grill-Petersen is a global leader in longevity medicine, peptide therapeutics, and healthspan innovation, dedicated to advancing human flourishing around the world. As Founder and CEO of Human Longevity Global and Co-Founder and President of Peptide University, she equips clinicians, organizations, and communities with the education, frameworks, and measurable tools needed to design for longer, healthier, more vibrant lives.

For more than three decades, Dr. Melissa has practiced at the intersection of integrative health, longevity medicine, and human performance. Over the past two decades, she has educated physicians and healthcare practitioners across a broad range of evidence-informed longevity strategies, bridging conventional medicine and emerging regenerative approaches. Peptide therapeutics remain a cornerstone of her work, with her teaching always encompassing the larger systems that govern human health, resilience, and vitality.

As Co-Founder and President of Peptide University, she has built a globally recognized education platform for peptide and small-molecule medicine, combining physician education, clinical mentorship, and practical implementation to help clinicians confidently integrate peptides, lifestyle medicine, diagnostics, and emerging technologies into personalized care. Her approach starts with the terrain: understanding the biological drivers of dysfunction, then designing integrated strategies that move a person beyond symptom management toward healing, resilience, and lifelong vitality.

This clinical philosophy is part of the broader vision of Human Longevity Global, the organization she founded to advance measurable human flourishing at scale. Through the Healthspan Index™, the Healthspan Model™, and collaborative work spanning healthcare, business, research, and smart cities, she is helping establish healthspan as a common language for designing healthier individuals, stronger communities, and more resilient societies.

A TEDx speaker and best-selling author of The Codes of Longevity, Dr. Melissa translates complex science into frameworks that inspire action. Whether speaking to physicians, policymakers, executives, or the public, her message holds steady: when we intentionally design for healthspan, we create greater health today — and longer, more vital tomorrows.
