Biography
Dr Saima Ajaz is a hepatologist, metabolic health specialist and researcher with more than 20 years of clinical experience.
With a PhD in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism from King’s College London, Saima’s work sits at the intersection of metabolic health, mitochondrial biology, precision medicine and longevity.
She is also Co-Founder of DEPH, the precision-health company behind two single-sex genetic and epigenetic platforms: UMMU, built specifically for female biology, and ENGNE, built specifically for male biology.
Her work is focused on understanding how our genetics, epigenetics and wider biology can help us intervene earlier, personalise prevention and ultimately change the trajectory of health and ageing.
